I am delighted to announce I have received a 2025 USU GEM Grant. The Utah State University Office of Research Grant-Writing Experience through Mentorship (GEM) grant is an annual grant program that provides funding to enhance the capacity and professional development of investigators through one-on-one research/creative scholarship and grant-writing interaction with a colleague mentor. GEM grants provide one-year seed funding of $10k with an expectation that funded GEM projects will result in the development and submission of at least one proposal to an external funding agency.
