THE CIRCLE

Conducted in collaboration with Heith Copes, Ph.D, University of Alabama at Birmingham Department of Criminology, The Circle is a longitudinal photo-ethnographic project to study behaviors and beliefs related to sacramental and ceremonial use of psychedelics (peyote and psilocybin mushrooms) by members of a Native American church in rural Alabama.
