The Minidoka Honor Roll and rock garden is seen at Minidoka National Historic Site, where more than 13,000 Japanese Americans were imprisoned at the Minidoka War Relocation Center between 1942-1945, in Jerome, Idaho. First built in 1943 by Japanese Americans who were incarcerated at the Minidoka, the Honor Roll was lost after the camp was decommissioned and deconstructed. In 2011, a replica was created in partnership with the Friends of Minidoka using historic images. As a living interpretative exhibit, the replica Honor Roll is periodically updated to include the names of Minidoka WWII veterans who were not listed on the 1943 original.
